Nebraska LB417 creates the Nebraska Promise Program, administered by the Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska, to cover undergraduate tuition costs for eligible students. To qualify, students must be Nebraska residents with a family income below $65,000, enrolled full-time at the University of Nebraska or Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture, and maintain a GPA of at least 2.5. The program allows for up to two years of tuition coverage at a community college or four years at a state college.
