Nebraska LB416 amends civil procedure to change the effect of releases on joint and several liability. It specifies that a release, covenant not to sue, or similar agreement entered into by a claimant and one or more persons liable shall not abrogate the joint and several liability of any other person or persons liable upon the same claim. It also repeals the original section 25-21,185.11, Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska.
