Nebraska LB409 amends the membership and compensation of the Nebraska Power Review Board.

Nebraska LB409 changes the composition and compensation of the Nebraska Power Review Board. The board will consist of five members, including at least one engineer, one attorney, and three additional persons. Members receive $100 per day for their duties, with a cap of $7,000 per year, except for the member representing the Southwest Power Pool Regional State Committee, who receives $250 per day, with a cap of $35,000 per year. The board can establish working groups and hold public hearings on retail competition in the electric industry.
