LB377

Change term limits for the Game and Parks Commission

Complete·3/17/25

Nebraska LB377 changes term limits for the Game and Parks Commission members.

Nebraska LB377 amends the term limits for the Game and Parks Commission, reducing the maximum number of full terms a member can serve from three to two. Members appointed before January 1, 2012, will serve five-year terms, while those appointed on or after that date will serve four-year terms. The bill also eliminates the provision that allows appointments to be made for the remainder of a term without counting as a full term.
