LB364

Nebraska LB364 amends the state park system incorporation process to require legislative approval.

Nebraska LB364 modifies the process for incorporating land into the state park system. It mandates that the Nebraska Commission of Parks and Recreation must seek approval from the Legislature or the Executive Board of the Legislative Council before indicating intent to incorporate any land or facilities owned or developed by local governmental subdivisions or agencies. This approval process includes providing an estimate of the fiscal impact of the incorporation. The bill also repeals the original section 37-342 and replaces it with the new provisions.
