LB302

Nebraska LB302 would eliminate daylight saving time in Nebraska.

Nebraska LB302 would eliminate daylight saving time in Nebraska. The bill would make the standard time of Nebraska the time established by the Uniform Time Act of 1966 in both the central and mountain time zones, exempting the state from daylight saving time. The change would become effective on January 1 of the year following when Iowa, Kansas, South Dakota, and Wyoming also adopt laws to eliminate daylight saving time. The bill also includes provisions for state employee vacation leave, including accrual rates and the handling of unused leave upon retirement or termination of employment.
