The Faithful Delegate to Federal Article V Convention Act establishes procedures for selecting delegates and alternate delegates from Nebraska's Legislature to represent the state at an Article V convention. Committees of the Legislature nominate delegates and alternates, which the Legislature must approve by majority vote. Delegates and alternates must take an oath to follow legislative instructions and cannot be compensated but may be reimbursed for expenses. The act prohibits delegates from casting unauthorized votes, which are determined by an advisory committee.
