LB143

Nebraska LB143 revises student enrollment provisions, including residency rules and tuition collection.

Nebraska LB143 amends student enrollment rules, allowing school boards to admit nonresident students under certain conditions, such as through contracts or special education needs. It mandates that children of military families can enroll preliminarily if a parent presents military orders. The bill also outlines tuition collection rules, including exemptions for specific student groups. It repeals the original section 79-215 and replaces it with new provisions.
