Nebraska LB141 requires reporting of child abuse and neglect involving military families to military authorities and military family advocacy.

Nebraska LB141 amends the Child Protection and Family Safety Act to mandate that reports of child abuse or neglect involving military families be reported to appropriate military authorities and military family advocacy programs. The Department of Health and Human Services must notify the appropriate military authorities and any military family advocacy program if the subject of the report is a member of a military family and the report is not determined to be unfounded.
