Nebraska LB137 prohibits homeowners associations from enforcing any restrictions on the installation or use of solar energy collectors, solar energy systems, or pollinator gardens. It also bans these associations from charging fees for such installations. Any existing restrictions are declared void and unenforceable. Homeowners are granted a civil cause of action against associations that violate these provisions. The bill defines a pollinator garden as a garden designed to support pollinators and a solar energy system as a system that collects solar energy.
