Nebraska LB121 bans land disposal of solar panels and wind turbine blades.
Nebraska LB121 amends the Integrated Solid Waste Management Act to prohibit land disposal of solar panels and wind turbine blades and their component parts. The bill repeals the original section 13-2039, Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska, and replaces it with a new provision that explicitly bans the land disposal of these items. The new law aims to prevent environmental contamination and promote recycling or proper disposal methods for these materials.
