Nebraska LB12 amends the statute of limitations for civil actions related to child sexual assault. It removes time limits for actions against individuals directly causing injury to a victim of a violation of sections 28-319.01 or 28-320.01, if the violation occurred on or after August 24, 2017, or before that date if the action was not previously time-barred. For actions against others involved, the time limit is set at twelve years after the plaintiff's twenty-first birthday.
