Nebraska LB1132 requires the Department of Health and Human Services to submit a state plan amendment to the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services for Medicaid coverage of long-acting injectable and extended-release medications for serious mental illness or substance use disorder. The bill also mandates the department to seek federal approval for extending postpartum coverage from sixty days to at least six months, and to provide coverage for continuous glucose monitors, translation and interpretation services, and lactation consultation visits.
