Nebraska LB1046 requires schools to establish policies for high school students' name, image, and likeness rights. These policies must allow students to engage in commercial activities, retain eligibility, and prohibit activities that conflict with school contracts or promote harmful content. The State Board of Education will develop a model policy by January 1, 2027, and school boards must adopt policies consistent with this model starting in the 2027-28 school year.
