Nebraska LB1034 amends state statutes to prohibit school employees, contractors, or agents from permitting federal immigration enforcement officers to access students, school employees, school grounds, or school facilities for immigration enforcement purposes without a valid judicial warrant. The bill defines a valid judicial warrant as one issued and signed by a judge or magistrate of a court of competent jurisdiction that specifically authorizes the access sought. It also repeals the original sections 79-2701 and 79-2702 of the Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska.
