Establishes a vending machine special revenue account for the Department of Public Health and Human Services.
Establishes a vending machine special revenue account in the state special revenue fund for the Department of Public Health and Human Services. The department shall collect a percentage of income from vending machines on federal and state property, excluding those operated by a blind vendor, and deposit it in the account. The collected funds are statutorily appropriated and can only be used for the purposes of this part in accordance with federal law. The act also amends Section 17-7-502 to define statutory appropriations and their requisites for validity. Effective July 1, 2025.
