Montana SB508 revises driving under the influence laws for drivers under 21, establishing any level of THC as DUI.
Montana SB508 amends the state's driving under the influence laws to include any detectable level of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) as grounds for DUI for drivers under 21. The bill modifies the definition of driving under the influence to include any amount of THC in the blood or other bodily substance of drivers under 21. This change aligns the legal standards for THC with those for alcohol, where any level of alcohol concentration is considered DUI for young drivers.
