Failed·5/23/25
Introduced Text

Montana SB475 would ban aluminum in vaccines and require aluminum-free vaccines to be available before enforcement.

Montana SB475 prohibits the use and sale of vaccines containing aluminum within the state. Health care providers are also barred from administering such vaccines. The Department of Public Health and Human Services must notify vaccine manufacturers, distributors, and providers within 30 days of the bill's effective date. Manufacturers and distributors must submit an implementation plan to the department within one year, detailing a timeline for compliance, removal of aluminum-containing vaccines, and distribution of aluminum-free vaccines.
