Montana SB46 revises the registration fees for underground storage tanks. The bill amends Section 75-11-505, MCA, to set new fees for tank registration. The fee for a tank over 1,100 gallons is increased to $300, and for a tank 1,100 gallons or less, the fee is set at $100. The Department of Environmental Quality may prorate these fees for periods not equal to 12 months. The bill is effective upon passage and approval.
