Montana SB447 revises laws related to prior authorization for health care services and prescription drugs. The bill extends the length of a prior authorization certification to 12 months from the date the health care provider receives the certification. It also provides that a prior authorization for treatment of a chronic condition is valid for the duration of the condition.
