Montana SB375 prohibits the sale of edible products containing hemp unless they are authorized as a drug by the United States Food and Drug Administration. The bill defines "hemp" as the plant species Cannabis sativa L. and any part of that plant, including the seeds and all derivatives, extracts, cannabinoids, isomers, acids, salts, and salts of isomers, whether growing or not. The prohibition takes effect immediately upon passage and approval.
