SB369

Montana SB369 strengthens suicide prevention efforts in schools by requiring training for employees.

Montana SB369 mandates that the Office of Public Instruction ensure low-cost and no-cost options for youth suicide awareness and prevention training. This training is required for certain Office of Public Instruction employees and school district employees. The training must be provided at no cost to the employee and may be offered through various methods, including in-person attendance, videoconference, individual study, online modules, or other approved methods.
