Montana SB219 revises the Board of Housing membership to include a tribal member and a veteran.

Montana SB219 amends the composition of the Board of Housing to require at least one enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe in Montana and at least one veteran of the United States armed forces. The board, consisting of seven members appointed by the governor, must be informed and experienced in housing, economics, or finance. The Secretary of State is mandated to notify each federally recognized tribal government in Montana of this act.
