Montana SB193 amends the law to require the governor to appoint members of the attorneys' examining board. The board, which may not exceed seven members, consists of attorneys in good standing. The governor has the authority to release, dismiss, or remove any board member and appoint others at any time. A majority of the board constitutes a quorum and is authorized to conduct examinations. The board's duties and assistance in the examinations of applicants are prescribed by the court governor.
