SB161

Montana SB161 regulates the sale and production of aquaculture products.

Montana SB161 provides for the regulation and sale of aquaculture, defining terms such as "aquaculture," "produce," and "retail food establishment." It exempts certain transactions from regulation, including the sale of homemade food and homemade food products. The bill also outlines the conditions under which a producer can donate homemade food to a traditional community social event and specifies that milk cannot be donated. It further details the requirements for small dairies to sample, test, and maintain records of milk samples.
