Montana SB111 limits the use of green lights on snow removal equipment to government entities and incident commanders.
Montana SB111 revises laws to restrict the use of green lights on snow removal equipment to those operated by the Department of Transportation or another government entity and to the incident commander of a scene requiring traffic control. This bill aims to ensure that green lights, which can be confused with traffic signals, are only used in specific, authorized situations. The new law codifies these restrictions as part of Title 61, chapter 9, part 2.
