Montana HB915 revises the taxation of certain wind generation facilities by moving them from class fourteen to class thirteen. This bill amends the definitions and classifications of various types of property, including wind generation facilities, energy storage facilities, and fiber optic or coaxial cable. Wind generation facilities are now taxed at 6% of their market value under class thirteen property.
