Montana HB874 provides property tax rebates for entities that did not receive past rebates for tax years 2022 and 2023. The bill allows eligible entities to claim a rebate of up to $500 for each tax year. Claims must be submitted electronically or by mail by October 1 each year. The Department of Revenue must mail notices to potential claimants by June 30, 2025, but receipt of a notice is not necessary for eligibility.
