Prohibits entities from requiring new motor vehicle dealers to sell electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles.
Revises laws relating to automobile businesses and electric and hybrid vehicles. Prohibits manufacturers, distributors, and importers from requiring new motor vehicle dealers to purchase or sell electric vehicles or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles. Any act or provision in a contract in violation of this section is void because it is against public policy. Amends Section 61-4-208, MCA, to prohibit manufacturers, distributors, and importers from engaging in certain unfair practices with new motor vehicle dealers.
