Requires a local government to enter the approval into the records of the local government and notify the department of the election results if the qualified electors of a county vote to approve a type of marijuana business to be located in the jurisdiction. Specifies that a municipality with a population of more than 5,000 persons may hold a separate election to approve or prohibit a category of marijuana business from being located in the municipality.
