Complete·5/5/25

Montana HB206 revises laws on electricians presenting their licenses at job sites.

Montana HB206 amends the law to allow professionals responsible for a job site or licensed electricians to request a license from anyone performing electrical work. If the worker cannot present a license, the requester can report this to the board or department. Department employees can issue citations and fines to workers not displaying a license upon request. This bill revises the presentation of electrician's licenses and amends Section 37-68-315, MCA.
