HB121

Montana HB121 mandates privacy in restrooms, changing rooms, and sleeping quarters by requiring their designation for exclusive use by one sex.

Montana HB121 requires covered entities, including correctional centers, juvenile detention facilities, local domestic violence programs, public buildings, and public schools, to designate multi-occupancy restrooms, changing rooms, and sleeping quarters for exclusive use by females or males. Individuals may only use facilities designated for their sex, with exceptions for custodial services, maintenance, medical assistance, law enforcement, and emergencies.
