Missouri SJR82 amends the state constitution to change redistricting rules for the House of Representatives.

Missouri SJR82 proposes to amend the state constitution to modify redistricting rules for the House of Representatives. The bill establishes a House Independent Bipartisan Citizens Commission to create a redistricting plan and map. This commission must file a tentative redistricting plan with the Secretary of State and hold public hearings. Members of the House of Representatives will be elected according to the districts until a new redistricting plan is made.
