Changes election terms and procedures for Missouri judges.
Revises the election terms and procedures for judges in Missouri. Supreme court and court of appeals judges will be elected for twelve-year terms, circuit court judges for six years, and associate circuit judges for four years. Each judge will be elected in a general election by qualified voters of the state, district, or county. Vacancies will be filled at the next general election. The changes will apply to judges taking office on or after January 1, 2027.
