Missouri SB977, known as the "No Foreign Laws Act," prohibits state courts, arbitration panels, tribunals, and administrative agencies from applying foreign law, legal codes, or systems. This includes any legal framework from outside the United States, such as international organizations and tribunals. The act also voids contracts or contractual provisions that choose Shari'a law or any other foreign legal system. The provisions do not affect ecclesiastical matters, corporations, partnerships, or associations that voluntarily choose foreign law.
