SB1774

Missouri SB1774 modifies zoning regulations to ensure fair treatment of modular and manufactured homes.

Missouri SB1774 amends zoning regulations to prevent local governments from banning modular and manufactured homes in residential zones where single-family homes are allowed. The bill prohibits discriminatory land use policies that unfairly restrict modular and manufactured homes, ensuring they are treated no less favorably than site-built homes. It also allows local governments to enforce compatibility standards, provided they are equivalent to those for single-family homes. The act aims to address the urgent need for equitable zoning regulations for modular and manufactured homes.
