SB1748

Missouri SB1748 creates a new offense for disclosing intimate digital depictions with intent to harm.

Missouri SB1748 amends the state's criminal code by adding a new section that criminalizes the disclosure of intimate digital depictions. This includes depictions created or altered using digital manipulation that show specific body parts or sexually explicit conduct. The bill defines "intimate digital depiction" and outlines penalties for disclosing such depictions with intent to harass, annoy, threaten, alarm, or cause substantial harm. It also addresses the liability of information content providers under certain conditions.
