Missouri SB1743 amends Chapter 389 to add a new section requiring the redaction of personally identifying information of train crew members and engineers in reports related to railroad incidents. This includes names, addresses, phone numbers, driver's license numbers, and Social Security numbers. Unredacted records can only be accessed by the employing railroad, by court order, or by law enforcement agencies, the attorney general's office, or the department of transportation for official duties.
