Missouri SB1675 allows the board of trustees of an urban library district to change the fiscal year dates.
Missouri SB1675 authorizes the board of trustees of an urban library district to alter the fiscal year dates from the default July 1 to June 30. The bill specifies that the librarian must submit a budget to the board each year, which the board then approves. The treasurer manages all funds, ensuring proper disbursement and accounting. Funds are categorized into operating and building funds, with additional funds established as necessary. The bill repeals and replaces Section 182.711, RSMo, to reflect these changes.
