SB1673

Establishes the Interstate Massage Compact to streamline multistate licensing for massage therapists.

The Interstate Massage Compact aims to facilitate the practice of massage therapy across multiple states by creating a streamlined licensing pathway. It establishes an Interstate Commission to implement and administer the Compact. Member states must license and regulate massage therapy, and the Commission will oversee compliance. The Compact allows for multistate licenses, which are recognized in all member states, and provides mechanisms for adverse actions and investigations. It also includes provisions for data sharing, dispute resolution, and enforcement.
