SB1619

Modifies provisions relating to leaves of absence for members of the National Guard and Armed Forces Reserves

Introduced·2/3/26
Introduced Text

Missouri SB1619 modifies leave provisions for National Guard and Armed Forces Reserve members.

Missouri SB1619 repeals and replaces sections 41.942 and 105.270, RSMo, to modify leave provisions for National Guard and Armed Forces Reserve members. It ensures that public employees who are members of the reserve component of the Armed Forces of the United States are entitled to leave of absence from their duties without loss of time, pay, regular leave, impairment of efficiency rating, or any other rights or benefits. The bill also mandates that an official order from the appropriate military authority must be filed as evidence of the duty for which the leave is granted.
