SB1533

Establishes the Interstate Dental and Dental Hygiene Licensure Compact to expedite licensure and increase access to dental health care.

The Interstate Dental and Dental Hygiene Licensure Compact aims to expedite licensure and increase access to dental health care through cooperation among states. The Compact allows dentists and dental hygienists to obtain a Compact License Privilege, enabling them to practice in multiple states. It requires states to share information and documents, such as Adverse Actions and investigations, through a Clearinghouse. The Compact is governed by the Interstate Dental and Dental Hygiene Compact Licensure Commission, which is composed of representatives from each Member State.
