Missouri SB1516 establishes rules for constructing, maintaining, and repairing fences on property boundaries.

Missouri SB1516 amends Chapter 272 to allow property owners or contractors to enter adjoining property up to ten feet to construct, maintain, or repair fences, excluding buildings. Owners or contractors are liable for damages but not for clearing vegetation on the boundary line. Exemptions apply to utility companies, railroads, and accredited zoological parks, wildlife conservation facilities, or animal sanctuaries.
