Missouri SB1405 modifies the requirements for clinical fellowships in the licensure of speech pathologists and audiologists.
Missouri SB1405 modifies the requirements for clinical fellowships in the licensure of speech pathologists and audiologists. The bill repeals the existing section and replaces it with new provisions. Applicants must now hold a master's or doctoral degree from an accredited program, submit official transcripts, and provide evidence of completion of a clinical fellowship under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist. Those with an audiology clinical doctoral degree are exempt from the clinical fellowship requirement.
