SB1372

Missouri SB1372 prohibits courts from enforcing foreign laws that violate constitutional rights.

Missouri SB1372, known as the "No Shari'a Act," prevents courts from enforcing judgments, decrees, or arbitration decisions that rely on Shari'a or any foreign law violating constitutional rights. It also bars courts from applying foreign law in matters involving marriage, divorce, child custody, adoption, or inheritance if inconsistent with fundamental rights or public policy. This law aims to protect the constitutional rights guaranteed by Missouri and the United States.
