Missouri SB1337 bans the manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of assault weapons and large capacity magazines.

Missouri SB1337 amends state law to prohibit the manufacture, import, possession, purchase, sale, or transfer of assault weapons and large capacity magazines. Exceptions are made for government officers, agents, employees, members of the United States Armed Forces, and peace officers acting within the scope of their duties. The bill defines "assault weapon" and "large capacity magazine" and classifies violations as a class C felony.
