Missouri SB1322 modifies provisions relating to the rulemaking authority of the Department of Health and Senior Services. The bill repeals and replaces sections 192.006 and 192.020 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri, allowing the department to adopt, appeal, and amend rules necessary to carry out its duties. The new rules must be promulgated in accordance with the provisions of section 536. The bill also mandates that the department include methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and carbapenem-resistant enterobacteriaceae (CRE) in its list of reportable communicable diseases.
