SB1286

Missouri SB1286 modifies local permitting application procedures, setting time limits and requirements for political subdivisions.

Missouri SB1286 amends Chapter 67 of the Revised Statutes of Missouri by adding a new section that modifies local permitting application procedures. It establishes a thirty-day time limit for political subdivisions to approve or deny permit requests. If a request is deemed incomplete, the political subdivision must notify the applicant within twenty days, allowing ten days for resubmission. The bill also mandates that if a request is denied, the political subdivision must provide written reasons for the denial, including citations to any violated code provisions.
