SB1263

Establishes "Colton's Law" requiring coverage for pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders.

Missouri SB1263, known as "Colton's Law," mandates that health carriers offering health benefit plans in the state provide coverage for medically necessary treatment for pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infections (PANDAS) and pediatric acute-onset neuropsychiatric syndrome (PANS). This includes coverage for antibiotics, medication, behavioral therapies, immunomodulating medicines, plasma exchange, and intravenous immunoglobulin therapy.
