SB1141

Missouri SB1141 protects health care institutions and professionals from being required to participate in sex reassignment or gender identity.

Missouri SB1141 establishes that health care institutions and professionals cannot be required to perform, assist, or participate in medical procedures, treatments, counseling, prescriptions, or surgeries related to sex reassignment or gender identity transitioning if such actions conflict with their established policy or moral, ethical, or religious beliefs. The bill also ensures that no legal action can be brought against those who refuse to participate in such procedures, and it prohibits discrimination against these institutions or professionals for such refusals.
